With a total of 526,397.56, the juniors and seniors of this year raised more money than any other claSS in S0uth'S history. Darrell Blackwell, selling 5618.17 in magazines, was the top salesman. Beth Baker was second with 5457.07 in sales. Leslie Huneycutt was close third with S422.17. The goal of the club is to promote an understanding of and appreciation for the Hispanic culture and heritage. The club participated in festi- vities and celebrations designed to accent the importance of the language and cul- ture of Spain and Latin America. The 1981-82 Club planned a trip to Mexico, sponsored a child from Bolivia, and shared in Foreign Language week. During this week they held a tea for the faculty and administration.
