Class officers: Lisa Withers, V. President, James McGill, Treasurer: Pattie Castor, Secretary: Phil Myers, President. I X Seniors It is 1:00 A,M. and you have listened to Styx change tracks seven times. Your English term paper is due first period tomorrow and you don't have a typewriter. And if you don't think that trying to write like a typewriter is hard, just try it sometime! Finally you dig up an ancient typewriter and begin to type. After five tries you finally get it right- and it's only 3:00 A.M. You'll be able to get at least three and one-half hours sleep before you have to get up. You have just experienced a typical weeknight for a senior. Atthe time of your graduation you will have spent 2,160 days in your twelve-year school career and a total of 12,960 hours in class. You have cheered for the Raiders at 33 football games and watched them take the South Piedmont Conference Championship for two years in a row. When you were a sophomore, there were 457 people in your class. Now there are 311 seniors. But, why not endure? Go ahead and put that term paper in its crisp, new folder and go to sleep. All too soon these high school years will be no more than a fond memory. 18 . F ggayzl nffndlfwn A9441-fm Q at-...tie .ff 'Gi 1 v 3 mg.,-b , X . TS 3' . W I Q cf'-- 9 . s ..
