S.R.S.H.S. future linguists learn not only the vocabularies, but also the grammars and backgrounds of their respective languages. Drivers Education Although driver training is not a required course and no credit is given for successfully completing it, almost all students take it. Before the student ever gets behind the wheel of the driver education car, he receives a minimum of thirty hours of classroom instruction. The aim, and the result, of driver training is to produce competent, skill- ful drivers. sl Q is , -M... One of the daily tasks of the counselor is filling out college transcripts. Guidance The guidance department is one of the busiest de- partments in school. Besides the counseling, there are records to be filled out, forms to be filed, and dozens of other duties. Mrs. Cavin takes very good care of this department and everyone enjoys the varied discussions with her. She seeks to understand each student's personality, needs, and problems.
