The band and chorus present programs to the student body and to the public. In addition, the music de- partment also offers to interested students a course in general music. Librar Science Q ---N Distributive Education Distributive education provides instruc- tion for those entering occupations which move products and services from the pro- ducer to the consumer. D. E. students have common objectives and interests in that each is studying for a specific career ob- jective. The program is open to juniors and seniors who have the academic background. Library Science students learn the funda- mental skills of being a good librarian. These students help in any way that they are needed. The bulletin boards in the library are always interestingly done by these stu- dents. ina., We promote the efficiency of our Library. 24

Numbers! Numbers! Numbers! Business Education To prepare students for good jobs in business, the business department offers instruction in numerous fields. Typing students do endless exercises to develop dexterity, accuracy, and speed. Girls push to take dictation just a little faster each day. Bookkeeping, secretarial office practice, and business math courses prepare students to cope with the problems of tomor- row's business. This is Greek to me. We must not hit the wrong key.
