Thel- ma's baby talk is the reason why so many boys leave school. She claims the sun bleached her hair. We wonder what would happen if she sat under the moon. IZ! IE CLARENCE HUNT Here we have the manager and waterboy of the great 1932 football team. Probably he became man- ager because the color of the football uniforms re- minds him of Peggy's red hair. How he loves that color. Seriously, we thing Hunt is one great fel- low, and he really loves the old school. That's why he has decided to become a P. G. next year. E ISI ROBERT INCE Bob And a great transformation took place. Such is the expression that applies to Bob. As a Fresh- man he was the happiest-go-lucky fellow in the class. As a Sophomore he was still loud. Then his Junior year came and with it a change. From a boisterous chap Bob settled down to the serious fellow he is now. But what's the difference in a nice fellow like Bob? KATHRYN JABLONSKY Kittie Who said Lux toilet soap? Just take one look at Kittie and you'll surely agree that nature is thc best beauty tonic. But, alas, a fiery temper accom- panies that school-girl complexion. It seems that there is a certain Senior in particular who is a fer- vent nature admirer. But he can't be blamed, and Kathryn should consider it a compliment. Page twenty-four

THE ORIFLAMME EDWARD GRYZBEK Eddie .Meet the future President of the United States. Eddie can do anything from boiling a cucumber to making Betty's face red. He has taken parts and been a leader in all S. R. H. S. activities. When it comes to school spirit, Eddie has his colors flying high. He now is the favored candidate for presi- dent of the Sayreville Husbands' Union. Stand in line, girls. 323 5 AUGUST HERREL Gucky Gucky believes in the old proverb that actions speak louder than words. This probably accounts for his unusual silence in classes. Mr. Williams says, As a History student August would make an excellent marathon sleeper. But outside of classes whenever an argument occurs Gucky is al- ways in the thick of the battle, and he is far from speechless then. Ei! itll HAROLD HOFFMAN Harry Harold is just as great a pest in one class as in another. He has a very unusual gift of gabg he can talk all day and say nothing. One may go into Goseman's empty handed and come out with a pair of shoes and a headache. Harry is funny that way. He trys to laugh but the best he can do is to bellow. RUTH HOLMAN May we present one of the sweetest girls in the Senior class? Well, here she is, with her blonde hair and blue eyes. We didn't hear very much from Ruth until our Junior year, when a certain some- one occupied her attentions. We certainly didn't blame him. Ruth will be an excellent stenog some day. THE ORIFLAMME w JOHN JUCHNOWICZ Juck John is a young man of moods. When he feels acrimonious, he can make' you feel like a tin dime. When he feels like a prevaricator, even Baron Munchausen would have to take a back seat. When he feels devilish, he has the class in hysterics. But in spite of his moods John is a good pal all of the time. VALERIAN KLEKNER Klek On the left, we have the other half of our cheer- ing section. Why, once when Klek didn't go to a game, no one could understand why the cheering was so weak. Good old Klek. She certainly can be de- pended upon, especially by her French mates who need prompting in class. Also herein lies the rea- son why Mr. Denny's room gets 100W in banking. JOHN KLOC Here's another of those strong, silent men from the back woods of Old Bridge. John is so surprised at being a Senior that he sits back in wonder and watches the dim mysteries of History and Math unfold. When John hears a joke it takes an hour for the grin to spread over his face, but when it comes it sure is something. El El ANTON KNOBLOCH Tanky Behold the captain and shortstop of our 1933 base- ball team. Coach calls him one of the best short- stops S. R. H. S. has ever had, and we agree with him. Tanky is a modest sort of a chap but is a real friend to everyone. Usually Tanky does not seem to be interested in the opposite sex, but lately he has often been seen in the company of a certain little brunette. Page twenty-five
