In career classes, students learned the fundamental ideas needed for business and trade. Students in DE, taught by Mrs. Ousley and Mr. Rickard, learned the basics of distribution and marketing, re- tailing, and dealing with customer complaints in a proper way. Mr. Williams and Mr. Greene taught ICT, another branch of the career program, in which students were trained on the job, in the occupation of their choice. Students taking ICT consisted of those interested in trades. Mr. Matheson's knitting technology class teaches highly specialized skills which can be used in the industry of the Belmont area.
