The 81-82 basketball season seemed to be a up hill battle for the Raiderettes. With only one returner with any experience the battle would be even tougher. The team had only two Seniors: Myra FlakyM Lancaster, and Dawn NMornin' ', Perkins and no height with the tallest member on the team being 5 ft. 7 in. For the first time in three years we had a good turn our of sophomores which could mean that the future could be better. Marti Earney, Lesa Shields, Carrie Hasbrouck, Tracy Jenkins, Jackie Jeter, and Julie Hayes will all be back for two more seasons which could mean a lot more success in the future, to go along with these first year players was junior Delores Watson who could have a bright future ahead of her. Things should be looking bright for the Raiderettes in the future!-Coach Earl Lingerfeldt. Right-Delores D Watson shoots the hoop. ,
