FOOTBALL CHEERLEADERS At home games the cheerleaders can be seen in their usual cheering line. Even in stormy weather the cheerleaders try to keep up the crowds spirit as well as those of the players. 120 5 l f l At the end of the school year 1981, a new cheerleading squad was chosen. Among those chosen, four retumedg two seniors and two juniors. The new members include six seniors, one junior, and two sophomores. They all work hard at giving all they have at football games whether the score is in our favor or not.

Bottom-Cheerleaders relax after cheering on the court. This year the cheerleaders divided into two sections, the football cheerleaders and the basketball cheerleaders. There were nine basketball cheerleaders chosen, among these included three seniors, four juniors, and two sophomores. They are all energetic young ladies with pep and enthusiasm evident by their cheering at the games, as they try their best to cheer the teams to victory. To keep in shape these girls had practices on Mondays and Thursdays as well as the game on Tuesdays and Fridays. Their sponsors are Mrs. Chisholm and Mrs. Marsha Jones. 121
