No two alike “College students. They’re all alike. When they’re not skipping classes, they’re drinking or stirring up trouble.” Stereotyping college students prov- ed easy for anyone who observed them from afar. But students, themselves, knew that a “typical” college coed did not exist. Ages, morals, beliefs, tastes, and backgrounds combined in 1,902 ways to make 1,902 different SPC’ers. Even in the obvious groups of cowboys, preppies, slobs, beauties, and beasts, one could find a variety of individuals ranging from seven- teen to eighty-seven years old. “| found that meeting people was a fun way to add to my education,” commented freshman Patrice Cowan. From the inside view, no two SPC’ers were alike. To curl or not to curl was the question that faced many girls like Esmeralda Torres every morning.
