Cindy Gann 12. Janet Setliff 4. Kathy Newsom f 'rm-i Gerik Twelve South Plains College coeds have been chosen for Presidential Hostesses. This is a new group for the college to further enhance its colorful history. The six freshmen and six sophomore girls' duties are: to be available at the College President's request for various appearances and functionsg to attend area high schools for college nights and other recruiting eventsg to serve as col- lege hostesses for open houses, receptions and other special eventsg and to welcome dignitaries visiting the college cam- pus. The girls' qualifications include personality, poise, appear- anceg being Well informed concerning all areas of the college and communityg able to relate to and communicate with peopleg maintain a grade point average of 2.75g Willing to do some traveling and perhaps- remaining on campus some weekendsg and to be willing to attend charm sessions. Soph- omores will be required to remain for the entire year and freshmen must return their sophomore year.
