Tigers Look Forward fo Having a Beffer Season Left to right, first row: Mike Carroll, Ken DiLeo, Bill Santillo, Chris LoMonte. Second row: Mark Ianna- cone, john Carroll, jim O'Hare, Ray Palazzo, john Kratz. Third row: Fran- cis Lucanegro, Scott Switzer, Coach ' jayson, Lenny Wright, joe Archutow1 ski,Valerie Duncumb. Nineteen-seventy-six was a rebuilding year for the Tiger's Cross Country team. Though the team recorded a disappointing 3 wins and 12 losses, there were many bright moments during the 3 month season. Lenny Wright made the greatest improvements during the season, winning two three-mile races, stated Coach jayson. Outstanding seniors were Ray Palazzo, john Carroll, john Kratz, and jim O'I-lare. Although the tennis team closed its season with a record of 3 wins and 18 losses, its record was not a true reflec- tion of its talent. There were 9 close matches where the score was 2-3, that could have easily gone our way with a few breaks. Senior Pat Eckel, team captain, moved up from third singles last year to play first singles this year. Other seniors Kathy Fimiani, Robin Thibault, and Theresa Lukey, were all double players. lunior Ginger Sulovski, playing her first year with the tennis team had the best individual record at 13-7 while playing 1st and 2nd singles. Also contributing to the team were junior jacki McDonough, who played doubles, and Romana Sam Kravetsky, who was a singles player.
