Principal Harry Lobby, Principal Graduation opens many new avenues of life for you. The most important fac- tor now is that you choose the path which will enable you to become a success in your chosen life work. All of us vvant to be a success! We want the satisfaction of knowing that vve have employed all our abilities to do something vvorthvvhile, that vve are appre- ciated by others for our efforts, and that vve are making the world better for oth- ers by our presence. ' The difficult thing, of course, is not in wanting these things, but putting our efforts in action so that these wishes can be realized. Often vvhen we try to learn howto do this, we confuse learning hovv with reaching the goal of actually doing. Some of us think that by going to school vve vvill learn howto be successful, but then vve stop, assuming that because vve have gone to school, have learned hovv, vve will automatically become a success. This is not true. We start in school, but, in reality, we never really complete our learning process. What vve begin in school should be continued after vve leave. Subjects taught in schools are but tools to use in developing the qualities of success. Therefore, these qual- ities are actually factors which can be cultivated by everyone, in school and out, if he puts his mind to it. Remember, success, real success, is measured by contributions to life! Wa O77
