y ioa New Changes For Change, was the word for the 1976 REGIT. After starting out the year without a fulltime advi- sor, there were many doubts as to whether the production of the 1976 REGIT would be possi- ble. As the year progressed our new advisor, Mr. james Pocetti who, along with a hard working staff, joined together to make the 1976 REGIT the best REGIT ever. Among the changes made this year were, a full color photo-collage for the cover of the book and sixteen pages of full color for the introduction. Drum Major Eric Strand leads the band during their half time show. Even in rain the S.P.H.S. The band placed third in the Metuchen Christmas Paradeg Second place in the Edison Bicentennial Parade and had the high score in the Cedar Ridge Competition. The team also participated in the Waldwick High School Competition and the Home-News Band Festival and they did well in both. The band was under the direction of Mr. Paul Nagle with Eric Strand leading the band as Drum Major. The band puts on another great show as usual.
