Its members are chosen on a basis of scholarship and leadership ability Leader Corps sponsors various school activities, including such fund-raising events as cake sales and dances during activity period. This organization is also called upon several times during the year to -act as host at school functions CP. T.A.J meetings Teacher's Workshop, etc.j lt's members act as study hall monitors and hall recep uonists. AllLeader Corps members have white jackets with their own emblem and name on the pocket and are allowed to wear them at all their functions NATION AL HONOR SOCIETY A candidate for the National Honor Society must have certain qualifications: Service to school, town, and country, Scholarship, Character, and Leadership. Both the Society and a faculty committee must approve all new members Among the projects of the National Honor Society are cake sales, scrapbook, dances trips, and maintaining this Student Handbook. Pins and membership cards are given to each member. The Club's aims are, to bring about a greater Lmderstanding of the language, and to have fun with French. The Club colors consist of those of the French flag--red, white and blue. ' French is spoken by all members at all meetings and the activities such as presenting skits,playing games, and singing folk songs are con- ducted in the language. Two trips are scheduled for each year, one to be taken in mid-winter and the final one at the close of the school year. The Latin Club, sponsored by the Latin Teacher, is a club which is designed to make Latin more interesting to the students. It also promotes a better understanding of the language.
