During the past three years we have come in contact and have been influenced by various forces. These forces can be likened to the spokes of a wheel evolving from a central core or hub, our school. When we started high school we were confused adolescents. Because of the diversified activities in our school, we have developed into rounded individuals. Qur faculty, one section of the wheel, has molded and shaped our mental development and has instilled in us a desire for truth. However, intellectual achievement in itself is not sufhcient. lt must go hand in hand with an understanding of ourselves and others. Such an understanding can be obtained through participation in various activities and sports, two other elements which constitute the wheel. The various activities in our school afford an opportunity for everyone to develop his special interest and to work with others. Athletics afford a chance for us to develop our bodies as well as our minds. Through athletics we become acquainted with the competitive spirit we will be exposed to all our lives. After three years, we emerge as adults who have attained a certain degree of emotional and physical maturity which will enable us to take our places in society. We feel sad that our three years in high school are finished. But is it an end? A circle has no end. We can consider our high school experiences as a small segment of a continuing cycle. During the past three years, we have laid a foundation for future experiences, a foundation that will serve us in good stead no matter what field of endeavor we enter. 1
