MICHAEL MOGAVERO 'Mike is a very good sec- retary as evinced by his work for the Southron News and his service to the teachers. H fenced a little in his sophomore year. Mikes ambitions are to join the Army Air Corps and to lead a successful life after the War.

Vwtory Iles on the Horizon 25 HERBERT NOVACK Herbert is the boy with the personality sm1le which fi s perfectly mto his scheme for the future Herbie wishes to become a Doctor of Dental Sur gery or in the vernacular dentist LEO PACI Lee is the most taciturn ellow in th A Class H holds the d1st1nct1on of being the only one in the A Class who has never cut a class I-hs Joys are reading and at tending mov1es alone One can immediately recognize Lee in a classroom he is always parked behlnd a hoagie EMANUEL PACK This swing pianist likes at tending concerts at the Acad emy of Music Mendy aso emoys playing basketball and swimming His ambition 1 t become one of Mr Farblshs colleagues and teach English at Southern. LINCOLN PATTERSON Shorty whose muscles stick out like pineapples quote Mr. Pitts was a member of our track team. He has a deep love and respect for Mr. K. in whose room he has be- come a fixture. Shortys next job will be with Uncle Sam.
