Taffeta . . . along with Blue Lagoon by Nick Ifazio and his orchestra set the theme for the never-to-be-forgotten -lunior-Senior Prom, March 2, 1956. Juniors worked long hours painting and making crepe-paper stars and orchids . . . more long hours transforming the Harvest Club into the Blue Lagoon setting. Reward for all the hard work was a beautifullyrcarried'out theme and a memorable night for everyone. The movie, Picnic, at the jefferson, pro- vided the entertainment for those who pre- ferred the theatre party which immediately followed the reception. One of the highlights of the Prom program during intermission was a tap dance and adagio by Sproule School of the Dance. Mr. Henry Compton acted as master of ceremonies. THIS IS CHIVALRY P-Lamar Roach gallantly helps Patsy Beard out of the car in front of the Harvest Club, WHIRL THAT GIRL+Glenn Guillet and Janis Keith swing-out at the junior-Senior Prom.
