.xdvfminidfra fion To attempt to visualize the workings of God and the wonders of man leaves the individual in rapture and makes him seem more a part of this far-reaching earth and realize the propinquity of his Creator. One can sense the molding hands of God in everything one sees. in everything one feels. His touch gave dignity and grace to the pyramids: His breath is felt in the gentle zephyrs of a summer day: and His gaze is the light by which we see thc color of life. He put rocks in at stream so that the grateful traveler can ford it. and in much the same way He provides with stepping stones the human being on his journey from childhood to matttrity. He did not intend that it be an easy passage. bttt rather a varying development. The ubiquitous hands of parents: the large fingers that tiny hands love to grip tenaciously: and the outstretched arms waiting eagerly to enfold make the first stage a confident and secure advance. Ones own equilibrium and balance must be brought into use as he progresses further and further into the stream. Yet. some stones still remain to provide a footing. for there is still the danger of falling into the current. Our instructors have brought the opposite bank closer. so close that with one tremendous jump we can feel the impact of fresh green earth beneath our feet. To us. graduation is that impact. It is difficult to express our gratitude to ottr teachers for their friendship and devoted service. The one sad reflection on ottr acquaintance- ship is that we must end it just as a feeling of camaraderie begins to take root. It is said that one picture is worth a thousand words - - then. always in the minds of students shall there be a picture of the happy times spent at South Park High School. and in that pictttre shall be seen the friendly faces of the faculty. Nature bids us go Watchful and wise beyond our own domain. Piecing together what she'd have us know And what we may not ever meet again. -ELEANOR PRICE
