C a t i U 0 . n t l i a 9 r A , . it C SEPTEMBER Well, well, here we are again! Today the doors of Paris High School swung open for another year of work and play. There are many new faces to be seen, both teach- ers and students. What do you know, today we all went to the fair. There was only a half day of school. This is almost too much! Another half day off because of the fair. The first Football game of the season was played today at Bridgton. What a gamel The final score was 20-20. The Balfour representative was here today to show the Seniors his samples of announcements. Today we hear from the Josten Company representative. What another? Well, anyway, the Herff- Jones had a fine selection. After quite a battle, the Seniors decided on the Herff- Jones Company. 20 The Seniors all looked their best as their class pictures were taken. Oh, those lowly Freshmen! This was the day that the Sophomore's had been so eagerly awaiting - Freshman Reception, in case you hadn't guessed. The dance was held from 7:30-10:00. In the afternoon we had a football rally. Football game at Norway today. The re- sult was kind of disappointing 'l3-'l2, Nor- way wins. Today the Bell Telephone Company pre- sented us with an Assembly on Voices Beneath the Sea. The football boys played at Gould. Gould took home the bacon and the Pigskin. C18-125. OCTOBER Is this me ? Senior class proofs arrived today from Jackson Studio. Football game with Jay at home. The game was great, Paris came out the victor with a score of 35-0. Paris played Fryeburg at home and em- erged victorious. U2-OJ. Today the boys took a trip to Lisbon for their football game. Again Paris won with a score of U9-121. Today we witnessed a very interesting as- sembly. James Walter, a hypnotist, was the star attraction. We hope all the football players recover from the hypnosis, especial- ly Bruce Thompson - don't let the Rackee Horse get away from you, will you, Bruce? Paris played Livermore today. The boys played a good game winning again with a score of 26-6. NOVEMBER Tonight we held a football assembly with some of the old football players of our town as speakers. The rally was followed by a dance for all. Yippeel ! l The last Norway-Paris football There is a history in every day's deed. - Shakespeare.
