Life is a perilous iourney which has many curves, side sTreeTs and unexpecTed deTours. Advice as To which rouTe is The besT may be conTradicTory. Some Take The scenic rouTe ThaT leads from The main road. OThers Take paThs To shorTen The disTance Toward Their desTinaTions. Do noT follow where The paTh may lead, buT go where There are no paThs and leave a Trail. ln high school we gain The knowledge necessary To prepare us for The road ThaT lies ahead. Seniors in Their headlong dash inTo The TuTure yield as graduaTion nears To conTemplaTe Where am I going'? , How will I geT There? The answers To These quesTions will have a direcT bearing on The ouTcome of Their TuTure. Juniors are now merging onTo This crowded highway, while The sophomores are iusT now crossing over To This new phase of school life. As high school sTudenTs, we become so involved in The acTiviTies of our school ThaT we seldom venTure off our daily rouTe To Try a ciTy sTreeT. In The '64 DEN we hope To make each sTudenT more aware of The Tremendous opporTuniTies offered loy Dallas and To encourage you To Take advanTage of Them.
