The one way stair system put into effect by the council solved a most serious problem. This project, strictly student sponsored, was accepted by the student body and faculty. Much traiilc congestion and confusion was eliminated because the students did give their complete co-operation. JUNIOR CLASS OFFICERS Cole Black, Secretaryg Donald Perry, Vice-Presidentg Ronnie Seichrist, Presidentg Leon Bryant, Treasurer. Mrs. Virginia Hornbuckle, Sponsor. The Junior Class, under the leadership of their president, Ronnie Seiehrist, took an active part in our assemblies, plays. sports and other sueh extra curricular activities during the year. Their own dance, which was in February, was an example of their class spirit and coopera- tion. Sponsors for the Junior Dance were Rose Marie Kolesarie and Burnie Mansfield. The gyni was decorated in their class colors, red and whiteg the girls wore the class flower in a cor- sage of two gardenias. The Juniors didn't receive their senior rings this year as did last year 's Junior Vlass, but will order them early next year. Though this year has been an exciting and busy one, the Juniors' minds are filled with thoughts of the day when they, too, shall be hailed as a Senior Class of South Norfolk High School. 4,4 7954 Well, now, when we did it-, so might Mrs. Edna Bacchus and Duval Flora, former Junior Presidents, be saying to Ronnie. 2 ffl ?
