Currie, J. Gridley Pres: John Wasicko Vice-PrCS: Jean Gridley Secretary: Dawn cole Treasurer: Marty Perkins Student Council was created to provide the students of our school with a way to re- present and govern themselves. The students are represented with two members from each class. These representatives, as a whole create the Student Council which coordi- nates all student activities. In the past year Student Council has become more involved in both the community and our school. Through our efforts we were able to convince our administration to al- low Walkman headsets back onto campus. At the request of Mr. Schriber (Sr. High So- cial Studies) we eagerly helped with the 1984 Mock Election held for students in grades 7-12. Members of Student Council engaged in the Sr. Citizen Student Work Day in which students did odd-jobs for the senior citizens of our community. Currently Student Council is working on creating a weekly honor list, to be the op- posite of the weekly ineligitable list. Another goal, also, is to name a student of the month from grades 7-12. 20
