She is from Chiba City, Japan, which is near Toyko. In Japan, she was a member of a fencing club. Her hobbies are lis- tening to popular music, reading, and cooking confections. She also likes detective stories. Kar is staying with the John Robinson family and Mr and Mrs. Bill Madison. She will gradu- ate with the class of 1979.
