. . . the memory of Herb Reed Herb served as clerk to the Board of Education for 23 years. He was not only well known to everyone in our school but also to the whole community and surrounding area. Herb was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. There aren't enough words to express the many ways in which Herb has touched each of our lives. His familiar friendly face is missed by one and all. It is honestly said that he was a friend to all and an enemy of none. 4

But show me a student who merely wishes to make a good liv- ing and I'll show you a student who's going to be of service to his fellowmen, because that's the only way he can make a good living.
