Her interest follows us through all our undertakings, therefore— May we dedicate this yearbook of 1964 to her, with a sincere Thank you. BOARD OF EDUCATION ROW ONE: Elwood Fredrickson; Frank Kopko; President, Earl Nearing; Merritt Ford; Hary Pike; Absent Herbert Reed, Clerk. RICHARD A. MARSTERS, Supervising Principal Education has improved and developed a great deal in the past few decades. Modern marvels of science such as electronic tape recorders and television receivers are but a small indication of what the future may bring forth to aid our teachers in educating students. The wealth of knowledge is estimated to be doubling every ten to twenty years, presenting an excellent opportunity to those who can and will take advantage of it. Every individual must learn the value of self-discipline to benefit fully from these gains in education and knowledge. Perseverance, diligent study, and the courage to work hard even when the immediate gain seems small are alia part of self-discipline. All these are necessary for a successful future from our society based on the present educational system. May the class of 1964 have found a degree of self-discipline which will grow and contribute to a happy and satisfying future for each of you.
