One new member, Iona Noble came from Norwich. At Halloween, we sponsored a marriage court and a fun house. We had great fun preparing and running it. Through the basketball season we had many players from our class. Also, three of the Junior Varsity cheerleaders, Shirley Wood, Vio- let Van Pelt, and Shirley Wood are Sophomores.

Blue and White We began our Junior year with ten members. We lost two members; Richard Sam- uels and Edna Diamond, and gained one, Norman Hadlock from Springvale. At Halloween we sponsored a night club, which was just a lot of fun and just a lit- tle different. In February we had our second Winter Carnival. Our Class made an image of Mick- ey Mouse and again received the trophy for the best statue. Also in January, Marcia Robinson won the American Legion Oratorical contest. Her speech was on The History of the United States Constitution.” Throughout basketball season, we had two cheerleaders and one player from our class. Virginia Cady and Jennie Beadle were the Varsity cheerleaders, and John Van Pelt was on the Varsity Team. —6—
