What would school be like With not a single teacher to sass? What would school be like If coach could adopt a team? School would really be different If the girls did not scream. Boys running here and there Teachers causing the chase; Things sure would be different If teachers had a faster pace. School I think would be Dull by far If none of the students Drove a car. I think the noon hour Must be really small For all those couples Who stand in the hall. What would we do with No text books to read Vfith no tests to answer And no rules to heed? Mr. Borden was our conductor. We held our regular summer concerts under his direction. On December 4-th about fifteen band members went to Utica to hear a concert by the Rochester Philharmonic orchestra. This was an unusual chance to hear a large orchestra, such as only a few of us had heard before. The band played for school assem- lies, home basketball games and special programs during the year. We were hosts to the Area Music Festival in the spring. We also took part in the Chenango County Musio Festival held in Oxford on April 7. We have regular practice three times a week as well as sectional rehearsals each Tuesday. THIS PAGE IS SPONSORED BY L. J. B. LUMBER SUPPLY CO.
