In February we presented a program for the class assem- bly. It consisted of three pantomines. We are proud of our classmate, Max Brownell, who made, the varsity basketball team. On March 16, most of our members participated in the Music Festival at Edmeston, singing, “Donkey's Serenade, Prayer For Today, Mow The Day Is Over, , and Sleepy Town Express. We all attended the World Day of Prayer service and took an active part in it. On May 6th, many of us took part in the county Vocal Festival, held in Mom-rich. In the latter part of May we held our annual concert at which we sang, Charlotte Town, Donkey Serenade, Soon Ah Will Be Done,'’ Volx Celestes, and The Lords Prayer. GIRLS CHORUS The girls chorus started the year 1950 with a good share of the members from grades 8 through 12. We met for practice on Mondays and Wednesdays. During the year we participated in several activities, one being the Music Festival at Edmeston on March l6th. At this festival we sang, Skip To My Lou, Some Enchanted Evening, Were you There, and Slyvia. On May 6th, several of our members took r-rt in the County Vocal Festival held in Norwich. We sang, In Silent Might, Three Blind Mice , and Sing Robin Sing. We also held our annual concert in the school auditorium in the latter part of May. THIS PAGE IS SPONSORED BY FRED M. We met for practice three times a week plus sectional rehearsals on Mondays. We held our usual concerts this past summer and were in demand throughout the year at various community affairs, assemblies held at the school,and played at the home basket- ball games. We took part in the county area music festival held in Edmeston this year on March l6th. On March 25th our band took part in the county instrumental festival held in Oxford, We held our annual concert at our school in the latter part of May.
