This year Masque and Gavel pro- duced the play Blithe Spirit, under the direction of Mrs. Nadine Shimer. This is a comedy dealing with the problems a man and his wife have with the haunting spirit of his first wife. The husband lplayed by Paul Yoderl is writing a book about witchcraft, so he asks a medium to coniure up a spirit. As tate would have it, the spirit turns out to be his first wife lplayed by Tot Marshalll who doesn't like his marriage to his present wife lplayed by Donna Tuck- erl. The plot thickens as the spirit wife plots to kill her former husband but kills his wife instead. chool Year ol' 68-69 The Rebs tried hard this year for the Spar-Reb trophy, but the Spartans i'Wish upon a star was the theme of this years Christmas formal took another victory. This year at S.M.H.S. was a very ac- tive one. Starting with football, the Rebs went on for a winning season, all the way into the play-offs. With the help ot the Cheerleaders, Poms, teachers, band and the whole student body, the Rebels showed outstanding determination and will to win. ' Then came the Christmas formal, which was a memorable night tor many people. Other dances were sponsored in which almost all participated. A Night Before Chri +mas 'AA Night Before Christmas was the theme of This year's fashion show. The stage and aisles were decorated with colored ribbons and paper, and the music set The mood. The fashion show is an annual event sponsored by Girls League. Models are chosen for Their poise and personality. Girls of The Month are named honorary models. The girls wore fashionable styles from Penney's of Tower Plaza and left The audience knowing the newest styles and colors ofthe year. This little boy enioyed the fashion show while patiently awaiting the arrival of Santa Claus.
