Debbie was chosen as Arizona State Champion twirler.

chool Year ol' 68-69 The Rebs tried hard this year for the Spar-Reb trophy, but the Spartans i'Wish upon a star was the theme of this years Christmas formal took another victory. This year at S.M.H.S. was a very ac- tive one. Starting with football, the Rebs went on for a winning season, all the way into the play-offs. With the help ot the Cheerleaders, Poms, teachers, band and the whole student body, the Rebels showed outstanding determination and will to win. ' Then came the Christmas formal, which was a memorable night tor many people. Other dances were sponsored in which almost all participated. These and many other activities were what made i968-69 school year a very suc- cessful one. Rebels enioy one ofthe many dances of the year
