and li C :nl For those wishing to learn about art, for those wishing to improve their techni- ques, and for those wishing to refresh their memories, South Mountain has three teachers in the fields of ceramics, art history, and painting - Miss Hatta- baugh, Mr. Lewis, and Mr. Boothby. Mr. Lewis is the head of the art department. Miss Williams is the photography teacher and is also part of the art department. All photography students learn picture- taking techniques, care of equipment, and the entire process of photography from her. Yearbook and school news- paper photographers have all been in Miss Williams' class at one time or an- other. ' Paints, brushes, and paper are evidently the order of the day for this art student. Mr. Nelson is a new addition to the r r industrial arts department and teaches a variety of courses. The other teachers are also experts in their fields.
