An example of this was the state meet, held at Hart- ford. The team, running in damp weather, placed third in Class B, which consists of schools under 1,000 enrollment. Doug Stuart, the team captain, finished ninthg and Harry Esayian, next year's captain, finished closely, coming in thirteenth.
