With five boys to occupy his time, Mr. Bauhs, our high school principal, doesn't need any hobbies or sports to keep him busy. How- ever, when those leisure minutes come, he heads for a golf course. Not many people are aware that at one time Mr. Bauhs was a star athlete. Did you know, for examf ple, that formerly he was a state tennis champion? Our superintendent of schools is a sportsman. When the deer hunting season comes each fall, he enjoys a few days of hunting at his cabin in northern Wisconsin. He also does some trout fishing in the Pople River, not far from his cabin. Here, in South Milwaukee, a pleasant summer day may find him scoring in the low 70's on the Grant Park golf course.

Left In Right: Marcy Hadjenian, Kathleen Calder, Delores Olsen, Irene Rivers. Secretaries Marcella Hndjiniun, one of the girls in Mr. Bauhs' office, is ready to help you, but she does give those detentions. Kathleen Calder, who became a Mrs. last September, is secretary to Mr. Bauhs and keeps everything running smoothly. Delores Olson works in Miss Smiths office but you can also see her popping in and out of the other offices. Irene Rivers, another new Mrs., is the girl behind the window, selling everything from pencils to con- struction paper. Betty Joy Dixon, secretary to Mr. Luther, has 21 big job but she is always willing to help where ever she can.
