as X The best part of school is the time that we spend together having fun. At South, there is time for talking, laughing, and playing. For the athlete, softball, basketball, and ping pong are available. For those who like to socialize, the Rebel Resters are a good place to go. Pep rallies and assemble programs also offer a change of pace during the school day. Crystal Ford and Renita Hargis relax outside at lunch. The Pep Band plays for a game at the high school. It seemed so big when we came here. The ninth graders ignored us completely. There were so many teachers and none of them seemed to really belong to us. But now, everything is so familiar. The seventh graders seem so young and immature. The teachers are almost like friends. Sometimes we're even bored and look forward to something new and bigger and more grown-up. So we continue to look forward to the future and our dreams of excitement and adventure. Lana Cothran leads cheers at a ballgame.
