CLASS HISTORY In September of 1951 we embarked on our h1gh schoolcareer We were then Freshmen and our hopes were h1gh Our class off1cers for that year were Presxdent Jxm Forney V1ce Presldent Luke Sc1p1on1 Secretary Joe Fox Treasurer Charles Armpr1ester Dur1ng that year we p1cked our class colors ma roon and wh1te and ordered our hats emblems and pennants We had our class party on May Z 1952 1n rooms 109 and 110 At the end of the year we went to Hershey w1th the rest of the students By our Sophomore year we were all very well ac qua1nted and qu1te estabhshed at South Lebanon I-hgh Our class off1cers were Presldent Luke Sc1p1on1 V1ce Pres1dent Ronald Royer Secretary Nancy Kurtz Treasurer Anna Mae He1sey That year we bought our classjackets Our class party was held 1n our new gym on November Z1 1952 We had games on the gym floor and dancmng on the stage We went to Her shey at the end of the year Wlth our Junlor year ahead of us we were com1ng very close to our goal graduat1on Our class off1cers were Presldent Ronald Royer V1ce Pres1dent .hm zel We got our class rmngs and p1cked our class flower yellow carnat1on and the class motto The past gone forever the future all our own Durlng the year we held bake sales at market to earn money for our tr1p to Wash1ngton We gave the Ju'11or Sen1or Prom for the Sen1ors on Apr1l Z7 The theme was Star Dust We danced ma garden scene w1th a w1sh 1ng well under a starry sky After many years of hard work our Sen1or year dawned 1n September 1954 Our class off1cers were Presldent .hm Forney V1ce Pres1dent Nancy Kurtz Secretary AnnaMaeHe1sey Treasurer Jack1e Kr1s s1nger The yearbook staff got busy on plans for the yearbook and the class made plans for our trxp to Wash1ngton D C To earn money we had a bake sale at the fa1r ran a Land1s and Land1s Club and sold cards stat1onery and wallets We were busy wlth graduat1on p1ctures name cards and commencement 1nv1t1at1ons The Jumor Sen1or Prom was held on Apr1l 14 Our Sen1or play was g1ven March 5 31 l . , .
