Miss Anna Watson, Principal, and Mr. I C. Knowles, Superintendent. Twentyeone years at Kitsap is Mr, Knowles' record, two years as a teacher and nineteen as superintendent. This year Mr. Knowles was made superintendent of the newly organized district 402, Miss Watson followed Mr. Knowles here and has been principal for eight years along with her work as librarian and Girls' Club adviser. Together Mr. Knowles and Miss Watson have been instrumental in Kitsap's growth from a small country school to a three unit consolidated high school with two more units to be built. Together they have met the problem of increased en! rollment with its increased demands. And together they have brought Kitsap's standards up, making it one of the leading high schools in the state. Melba Davis and Anna Allen are both graduates of Kitsap. Melba returned the year after her graduation and assisted in the office and has been in sole charge this year. Anna, who graduated last year, has assisted Miss Watson in the library and book room. Melba Davis 3 years at Kitsap Anna Allen Office and print shop l year at Kitsap Secretary to Mr. Knowles and Library Assistant Mrs. I-Iiersch Melba Davis and Anna Allen are both graduates of Kitsap. Mel- ba returned the year after her 1 .7 graduation and assisted in the of- fice and has been in sole charge this year. Anna, who graduated --W last year, has assisted Miss Wat- son in the library and book room. .
