Establishing and perfecting a sophomore girls' nonette, a junior girls' sextette, a senior girls' quartet. and a senior boys' quartet besides directing the usual senior choir and regular chorus, has taken every free moment of Miss Carlson's time. Making more appearances than the other groups, the sophomore girls' nonette has entertained at a Thanksgiving program sponsored by the P.-T. A.. a Methodist tea, and other similar functions. The choir has made several appearances this year, singing at the Christian Church, the Music meet at Silverdale, the Veterans' Home, and, as is its usual custom, has gone caroling at Christmas time. Nine vocal soloists were sent to the music meet at Silverdale this year, this time being the first year Kitsap has sent vocal soloists, with three boys and six girls doing solo work.
