The year 1939 and 1940 has seen the band improve and play for more social events than any other musical organization in the school. Always reliable and ready to entertain, the com- plete band has made appearances at such important events as the State Teachers' Institute held in the Civic Auditorium. Seattle, the Armistice Day program at school, and the Music Meet at Poulsbog and they put on a drill in formation at almost every football game of the season. rain or shine. The Pep Band, an organization of about twelve members of the band, has added much toward the promotion of school spirit.
