Seniors The 'AWizard of Cz Ball December l, started the social year for the seniors. The girls gave a Valentine Tea for their mothers February l-4. The play The Family Upstairs was given May 3, in the auditorium. The last big event for the class of '40 will be the awarding of diplomas on May 29. A' T N B. Pound. reporter: M. Blaisdell vice president: 0. Chase, secretary R. Lundberg. president. Some of the other activities that the seniors took part in were the Carnival, Torch barn dance, and Class Day. For the carnival they sponsored the taxi dance: the girls raffled a quilt and sold pop- corn: while the boys had the crazy house. The seniors had a large number in Torch, and many boys were to be found in every branch of sports, football. basketball. track, and tennis. Miss Kwapil and Mr. Knowles were advisers.
