Margaret has participated in the Science Fair for four years and has won a grant each time. Popular with her friends, who love her for her loyalty, thoughtfulness, and sincerity, Margaret works steadily and quietly. Margaret has the ability to achieve her goal, for she is unafraid of work and difficulties. HAROLD WILLIS CALDWELL Harry, tall and good-looking, was co- captain of the football team during his senior year. Harry's personality and academic ability will make him a success. ANNA MARIE CALITRI Attractive, dark-haired Anna is one of our better students and has been our class secretary for four years. Besides helping Mr. Wright in the othce and serving as Typing Editor of THE ANCHOR, Anna holds a part time job in one of our down- town store. A popular girl at SK., she was a member of the Queen's Court at our junior Prom, Efficient and conscientious, Anna has developed exceptional skill in the commercial field and this, combined with her boundless energy, guarantees her success. 'ffl DOMENIC BERNARD JOHN CALITRI Business Manager of THE ANCHOR and a Star athlete for four years are only two titles by which we introduce Domenic, who is also one of the most popular boys in the school. For two years Dom has been a hard driving tackle on the varsity eleven, In his freshman year he played J. V. bas- ketball, but for three years he has been on the varsity squad where his size, his stamina, and basketball-know-how have contributed to our excellent record. Dom was chairman of our S. K, Pades and of the Halloween Dance as well as a member of the junior Prom and the Welcome Dance committees. Easy going and good- natured, Dom has earned his reputation for efiiciency by the success of our many activities, including THE ANCHOR ,i ' 4 ' fl,Z4Q, WM 1' LAZJEAN AUBREY CAR jean is one of the fun-loving members of our class. Her high scholastic attain- ments as well as her artistic achievements distinguish her as one of our gifted class- mates. Last year jean served on the Harvest Jamboree and Junior Prom committees. A diligent worker. jean is Art Editor of THE ANCHOR. In addi- tion to being a good student she has had time to be secretary of the French Club, re- porter for The REBEL. a member of the Dramatics Club. An outstanding collection of blue ribbons is proof of her love of horses which she has shown at many horse- shows throughout New England. After graduation Cleone plans to enter lf.R.I. where she will study textiles and merchan- dising. Tak- ing the general course for four years, Ever- ett was a member of the Future Farmers of America in his sophomore year. His hobbies include hunting, horseback rid- ing, and automobiles. Everett has a serious side, for he had a part time iob which required both industry and dependability. SARAH ELIZABETH BRIGGS Sarah, class vice-president in our sopho- more year, is both energetic and ambitious. Her warm smile and cordial greeting are characteristic of her friendly disposition. She has been active as a member of the Baton Corps and of the Glee Club, Her spare time is spent working at a local theater. At school she has had practical secretarial experience which will help her in her future career. Her favorite pastimes include dancing and chatting. An exuber- ant personality and an awareness of her responsibilities will make her a valuable secretary. DANIEL JOHN BROWN Danny, rugged tackle on the varsity foot- ball eleven, contributed to the success of the 195-I team. His sportsmanlike attitude on the field and in the classroom has made Danny one of our more popular class- mates, He is gifted with an affable nature distinguished by an intriguing smile. Tall and good looking. he enjoys basketball and baseball, Winrking at a summer resort gave him practical experience in the business field. Thoroughly likable, Danny has con- tributed his enthusiasm to many of our activities. DAVID LEE BROWN Although he seems quiet and reserved. Dave's carefree manner and friendly per- sonality have made him popular during his three years at S. K. Last year he entered the Science Fair and won a First Grant for his proyect on minerals from the sea. His numerous hobbies include collecting stamps. hunting. salt-water fishing. and cars. X27 I 20' r . 30 Al' , l RAYMOND NELSON CARR Ray, star athlete in three sports, is very popular with his classmates. On the foot- ball field he is a brilliant, hard running halfback and a defensive stalwart. ln bas- ketball Ray played one year of j. V. bas- ketball and two years in varsity competi- tion. Three years as left fielder on the base- ball team round out his outstanding record in sports. Active in every phase of school life, Ray has served on the committee for the Halloween Dance, the Senior Dance, and the S, K. Pades and has been a mem- ber of both the Chess Club and the Glee Club. Friendly and polite, Ray is a con- scientious student and a most agreeable companion. N afwvfef- X MARIE EVELYN CARRIERE Marie is one of our energetic commer- cial students - always busy with school work or social activities. Her popularity stems from her friendly manner and easy smile. She has belonged to the Girls' Glee Club, but we remember the entertaining skit in our S. K. Pades. One of Marie's chief concerns has been the Baton Corps in which she has been active for four years. Her other interests include all types of sports, especially football and basketball. SH EILA GERALDINE CARROLL Sheila, placid and pretty, is both an as- siduous student and an enthusiastic athlete. One of S.K.'s most energetic cheerleaders, she likes to play basketball and hockey. To supplement her athletic ability, she has studied dancing for several years. Sheila has demonstrated her keenness in her work as a member of the Literary Staff and as Sports Editor of THE ANCHOR. A popular and friendly classmate, Sheila was chosen as a member of the Queen's Court at our junior Prom. Her pleas- ant manner quickly won her many friends. Because of her capability and cooperative- ness, Vi has been one of the office staff during her senior year as well as Senior Editor of The REBEL. Swimming and driving comprise her schedule of favorite outdoor sports. A commercial student, Viola intends to enter the business field after graduation. V JANET IRENE CHAMPLIN janet is one of our enthusiastic students from Narragansett. Neat and attractive, she has a pleasant and friendly disposition. As a former member of the cafeteria staff, she was both dependable and conscientious. janet. a commercial student, finds that time passes quickly, for she is chatty and gay.
