Calitri Treasurer .. , ,John M. Beatrice 'B' s PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE To M y C Zaffmaterz Years from now as we look back on our high school days, we'll recall them as being among the happiest and most treasured of out lives. Perhaps then, we shall also realize how our faculty worked in an effort to prepare us to take our places in this troubled world. Even now we should appreciate their unceasing efforts to provide us with an education which will enable us to cope with the problems of the future and to make us leaders in striving for world peace. The job is there. The task lies squarely on our shoulders. We cannot afford to fail. With God's help and with a sense of pride and loyalty to our country, we cant help but succeed. ARTHUR L. QUIRK, JR.

On the staff of the school newspaper for three years, Bob is Editor- in-chief of The REBEL this year. Many other activities such as dances and food sales have been successes because of his tireless efforts. He was a member of the S. K. Pades committee, co-chairman of the Halloween Hoot, and chairman of the junior Prom committee. With Bob's drive and ambition he will succeed in whatever he attempts, 4.3 M, f 4, ,Af fi ' AUGUSTINE LEWIS WILLIAM APICERNO One of S. A valuable member of the Glee Club for three years, she also sings in a church choir. A commercial student, Eve has also been Art Editor of The REBEL. In her spare time she likes to sew and cook, and also to collect salt and pepper shakers. Although Eve is undecided about her fu- ture, we are confident that she will find a pleasant career where her warm person- ality will make others happier for having known her. fic RV MARY JOANNE ATTERIDGE Joanne-petite, pretty, and vivacious- is one of our most enthusiastic cheer- leaders. Her pep is as contagious as her charming smile. Fashionable and smart, she is also conscientious as a student and responsible as a leader in our activities. Joanne is Editor of Sports and a member of the Literary Staff of THE ANCHOR. She was on the S. K. Pades and Harvest Jamboree committees. With her sincerity and sympathetic understanding, Joanne has endeared herself to all who know her. fc?'lA , I Y!! ' HARRIET EDITH BABCOCK Harriet is an attractive brunette.
