VIRGINIA SOUTHWICK Her air, her marmerf. all who mu' admzredf' For four years Ginny has been dashing in every morning, just as the bell rings. With her friendly and vivacious manner, Ginny's popularity made her a member of the queens court at the junior Prom. Leader of the Drum and Bugle Corps, she has patiently drilled the new members. Carefree and easy-going, she is able to find the humorous side of every situation. Gin- ny has also been active on the REBEL and in the Dramatic Club. LAWRENCE HIAWATHA STANTON Brevity is the .foul of wit. Tall and quiet is our Jim. As a humorist, he has acquired numerous friends. He plays football, basketball, and baseball well. Along with these activities he is also an avid stock car racing fan. Our best wishes go with Jim when he joins the Air Force, and we are sure that he will live up to his nickname of Speedy. MITZI JANE STAUFFER The bury have no time for tears. Dark-eyed Mitzi is one of our most pop- ular classmates. Efficiency and leadership are only two of the qualities that have aid- ed her as our vice-president for four years. Her many activities include the REBEL, the ANCHOR, and 4-H. As leader of the Baton Corps, Mitzi has shown co-operation and spirit that will surely aid in making her a success in life. HAZEI. DOBSON STEDMAN Everyone Jpeahf of happiness: feu' know il. The sunny side of life explains Hazel completely, for hers is a sunny disposition, laughing and gay. Her co-operation as a member of the Retail Selling Club and her dependability in the Glee Club are but two of the characteristics that have made Hazel well liked. Good natured and care- free, Hazel is a companion whom we shall miss. ROBERT THOMAS STEDMAN The dayr that make uf happy make ur wife. Curly-haired Bob is always willing to lend a helping hand. Capable, dependable, and cooperative are only a few words to describe him His part time 'ob and other outside activities have not prevented him from attaining hii.,h marks n his studies Among other sports Bobs chief interest is stock car racing I . , 7 5 . . 7 . . . . 4 1 .

Friendly and carefree, Dave is enthus- iastic over the newly formed Licensed Drivers' Club, as his chief interest is in the mechanism of his Ford V-8. Always ready with a helping hand, he has gained a large following through his good nature and droll wit. Interested in farming and carpentry, Dave plans to make one of these fields his career. DOUGLAS M. SHERMAN XR He .tpeakeih nolf and 5et there lies a conzerratimz in hir eger Although one of the smaller members of the football squad, Dougie has, nevertheless, been a scrappy player. His quiet yet good nature has won him many friends. Doug- ie's good manners and disarming smile have made him one of the outstanding members of the senior class. His spare time is devoted to his hobby, hshing. f ,Y 4.'1'IC-efv 'mf fgzf JAMES ANTHONY SIGNORELLI Ambition bar no rest. jim's easy-going manner and friendliness have made him one of the most popular boys of the senior class. Besides being our class president, Jimmy finds time to dis- play his talents as an expert drummer. To versatile Jim belongs the credit for the success of the l95l S.K. Pades and the junior Prom. A good sport, he is a capable and ambitious leader. ALLEN CLARK SMITH Taye the jog ibut rprmgr from labor. Allen can do many things and do them well. An outstanding -l-H member, he won a trip to Chicago in his iunior year. Be- sides being Business Manager of the REBEL, Allen is a good student and sur- prises us many times by being the Ein- stein of the math class. He also finds time to hold a part-time job and to indulge in his hobby, which is stock car racing. ELAINE MARIE SMITH 'Iain ber lbnzfnig of when marie 'mu think of her. After her long bus ride from Richmond. Elaine still manages to remain amicable and friendly. An active participant in com- munity affairs, she belongs to the Richmond Glee Club, the Arbutus Garden Club, and works at a local flower shop. A home economics student, Elaine enioys the do- mestic arts and makes them her hobby.

MARGARET ANN ST. GERMAIN She excelr all :ramen in the magic of her lockrf' Margarers lovely auburn hair has been the envy of many girls at S.K. A diligent worker, Margaret has a part-time job after school. Always eager to help, she has been an able member of the REBEL staff, the French Club. and Co-assistant Editor of the Literary staff of the ANCHOR. By her graciousness and charm she has won the respect of all. EDNA MARY SULLIVAN Thy deep eyer shine like jeirelrf' Edna, a sweet blonde, is always willing to lend a helping hand. Her efhciency and sincere manners have made her an indust- rious member of the Dramatic Club. In her sophomore year she achieved high honors for her outstanding work in 4-H. Edna's charm and friendliness will win many new friends. RAYMOND JOSEPH SWEET Keep your face to the Junrhine and you cannot :ee the rlmdozz'. jovial and pleasant, Ray has been play- ing in the Drum and Bugle Corps for the past three years. A diligent and sincere student, his principal interests have been in agriculture and carpentry. In his sopho- more year, Ray was a valuable member of the football team. ANNE BRADEEN TABER Ar merry as the day if l0ng.' 1 If the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, Anne will gain many hearts. An excellent cook, she recently won her second trip to Chicago as the 4-H cherry- pie baking champion of the state. Anne, a good student, was a participant in the Science Fair for two years and has belonged to the orchestra. Her contagious giggle and cheery smile have always kept us in jovial moods. Anne has the ability to handle many things, for along with school interests, she also has a part-time job. -A DONLEY REX TAFT The rlile is the man himrelff' Don, tall and good-looking, is one of the best dressed boys in the class. A smooth dancer, he possesses a dynamic personality. He is an avid sports fan and is outstanding in basketball and baseball, as well as being an excellent student. Don's hobby. boating. is proof of his love of the sea. After grad- uation. be plans to enter the University where he will major in marine biology.
