Besides being an active member of the Glee Club, Marie has worked efficiently and industriously on the ANCHOR and the REBEL staffs. With her pleasing personality she became a mem- ber of the Junior Prom Court. During her four years at SK., she has achieved a high scholastic standing which will aid her in her secretarial career. JOAN ELIZABETH REELS True happinesr if found in making other: happy. We are all aware of Joan's arrival at school when we see her breathlessly hurry- ing to her locker with only a few minutes to gather her books and hurry off to her hrst class. Vivacious and sincere, Bunny is a good student and is always ready to lend a helping hand. She has participated in the Glee Club and the Knitting Club. HELEN JANE REPOSA Tranquillity thou better name Than all the family of Fame, Dark-haired Helen is an industrious sen- ior. Although seemingly a quiet person, she actually is fun-loving and gay. Helen enjoys singing and is a valuable member of the Glee Club. A participant in the Model Congress and a good commercial student, she will surely be a success as a secretary. J -1: , i ROBER CLINTON ROBERTS Let thy u'0m'J he few. One of the quieter members of our class, Bob is a participant in the Retail Selling Club. He is an enthusiastic sports fan. During the baseball season Bob may be heard enjoying his favorite pastime, which is praising the many virtues of the Red Sox. At present Bob thinks that he would like to make the Navy his career. ' 0 , t V J, J JOSEPH ARTHUR ROY I harlerz to laugh al ez'er3thing. Joe, another one of the stock-car en- thusiasts, is always in the center of a group having a good time. He is one of Mr. Wright's most dependable errand boys. Interested in community affairs, he is a faithful member of the South County Am- bulance Corps and the Peace Dale Fire Department. 4-...af i I1 'M ELIZABETH ANN PARISEAU Hail fellow, uell met. Betsy is one half of those vivacious twins. Her wit and pleasant chatter have made her a favorite among her classmates. Talking is one of Betsy's hobbies, and she possesses the unusual ability of being able to work and talk at the same time. An active mem- ber of the Baton Corps, Betsy is a depend- able worker on the REBEL stall and has contributed much to its success this year. Although sympa- thetic by nature, she has a keen sense of humor and a sparkling personality. Allie will do anything for anybody. Besides being a member of the Baton Corps, she is an efhcient worker on the REBEL staff. JANE CAROLYN PARKER Modern ir the beauty of women. jane, one of the most modest members of our class, has been an active participant in school activities. A baton girl for four years, she has worked diligently on the REBEL and the ANCHOR. Besides her part-time job, Jane hnds time to enjoy her favorite sports, tennis and swimming. Janes sincere and sympathetic nature have made her popular. l ... 14 JOHN LAWRENCE PARTYKA JR And wguirb ir a blue eye. John, a handsome lad with twinkling blue eyes, appears to be quiet, but his ex- pression of innocence conceals a mischie- vous nature. john's main interest in life is agriculture, and he has proved to be a capable farmer. A lover of the outdoors, john spends much of his time studying A A forestry. JOSIE FRANCES PRESCOTT Variety alone gizer jog. Josie is one of our most witty classmates. As co-captain of the cheerleaders, she has shown her enthusiasm and agility at all S.K. games. A member of the REBEL stall and of the ANCHOR staff, jo has dis- played her co-operation and ambitious na- ture. For her vivacity, she was chosen a member of the court at the Alumni enter- tainment in her junior year. .1

Friendly and carefree, Dave is enthus- iastic over the newly formed Licensed Drivers' Club, as his chief interest is in the mechanism of his Ford V-8. Always ready with a helping hand, he has gained a large following through his good nature and droll wit. Interested in farming and carpentry, Dave plans to make one of these fields his career. His quiet yet good nature has won him many friends. Doug- ie's good manners and disarming smile have made him one of the outstanding members of the senior class. Besides being our class president, Jimmy finds time to dis- play his talents as an expert drummer. To versatile Jim belongs the credit for the success of the l95l S.K. Pades and the junior Prom. A good sport, he is a capable and ambitious leader. ALLEN CLARK SMITH Taye the jog ibut rprmgr from labor. Allen can do many things and do them well. An outstanding -l-H member, he won a trip to Chicago in his iunior year. Be- sides being Business Manager of the REBEL, Allen is a good student and sur- prises us many times by being the Ein- stein of the math class. He also finds time to hold a part-time job and to indulge in his hobby, which is stock car racing. ELAINE MARIE SMITH 'Iain ber lbnzfnig of when marie 'mu think of her. After her long bus ride from Richmond. Elaine still manages to remain amicable and friendly. An active participant in com- munity affairs, she belongs to the Richmond Glee Club, the Arbutus Garden Club, and works at a local flower shop. A home economics student, Elaine enioys the do- mestic arts and makes them her hobby.
