KENNETH EDWARD GREENE The man that lover and laugh: must do well. Kenneth is another of '52's happy-go- lucky members. His good-natured grin and easy-going disposition have made him an amicable classmate. Ken is an active mem- ber of the Sea Scouts and has belonged to the Drum and Bugle Corps for three years. After graduation, Ken plans to join the Navy. WALTER LEO GREENE, JR. od' To lore the game heyoml the prize. Walt, who was a member of the varsity football team in his sophomore and junior years, is full of the pep and vigor that characterize an athlete. He is well-liked and has a great sense of humor and an exuberant personality. A lover of sports, Walt may be seen cheering for his Alma Mater at many of S.K.'s sports encounters. DAVID HORNER GULVIN Sigh no more. ladies, Jigh no more. Dave is that tall, blond, good-looking senior, hurrying down the hall. Alert and capable, he has been Sports Editor of the REBEL for the past two years. An ardent Cardinal fan, he plays baseball both for S.K. and in his leisure time. Business Manager of the ANCHOR, Dave is tact- ful, ambitious, and friendly. DAVID GIRLING HALL The reward of a thing well done ir to have done ir. Dave, Editor-in-Chief of the ANCHOR, is a good natured fellow with ambitious ways. He was class president during our freshman and sophomore years and won a Science Fair award in his sophomore year. A sports enthusiast, Dave has been man- ager of the football team and is a loyal supporter at all S.K. sports events. CAROLYN BEATRICE HAZARD I am wealthy in my friends. Carolyn is tall, well-dressed, and attrac- tive. She is always surrounded by friends enjoying her sense of humor, and het fine voice makes her a welcome member of the Girls' Glee Club. A lover of sports, she may be seen at all S.K. games. Carolyn, a good student, is also a member of the literary staff of the ANCHOR.

i 'S AK'- nw ROSEMARIE EARLY Mode1ty ir the citadel of beauty and of virtue. Rose's sincerity and diligence have made her a welcome assistant in all class activi- ties. She has shown her ability by rising from the junior varsity cheering squad in her sophomore year to co-captain of the varsity cheerleaders. A member of the queen's court at the junior Prom, Rose's unaffected manner makes her a friend to all. CHARLOTTE LORRAINE EMERY Sober, Jteadfarl, and demuref' Gay Charlotte is always chattering and laughing with her many friends. A sports enthusiast, she enjoys basketball, baseball, and tennis. Another of her major interests is reading, at which she spends much of her spare time. lndustrious and easy-going, Charlotte is a pleasant companion. JOAN ELIZABETH FERRARE 'Exuberance it beauty. Diminutive Joan, one of our cheerlead- ers, came to us in her junior year from St. Xavier's Academy. Her bubbling per- sonality, ready wit, and explosive giggle have done much to brighten our days at S.K. A prominent member of the com- mercial course, joan is a true friend and easy companion. WILLIAM FREDERICK FORBES Minh, with thee I mean tn life. With his happy-go-lucky ways and mis- chievous nature, Billy is liked by all. An avid fan of the New York Yankees, Bill refuses to believe that any other team could win the World Series. As a member of the football squad during his junior year, Billy has shown his dependability. FLORA VANCESSIA GARVIN True bappinen ir of a retired nature. With her friendly smile, Vannie has won a place in our hearts. Active in the Mariners, she also participated in the Glee Club, the Knitting Club, and the Pho- tography Club. Vannie's chief interest out- side of school is in travel. After gradu- ating she would like to enter nursing or train to be a beautician. 1, fx., ' -.W --'WX

JANE ELLEN HILLIARD Wit maker itr own welcome and level: all divination. Jane's pleasant manner and sparkling conversation make her the center of attrac- tion. Maintaining a high scholastic record, she is one of the most ambitious members of our class. Jane has been an active par- ticipant of the REBEL staff, the Baton Corps, the ANCHOR, and 4-H. After graduation she hopes to fulfill her ambi- tion by entering the nursing profession. l J 1 MARJORIE LOUISE HOLLAND A merry bear! goer all the day, Margie, one of our most avid tennis players, can always be seen in the spring season practicing after school. A lover of all sports, she especially likes to play basketball. Cheerful Margie, an enjoyable classmate, was a participant in the Debat- ing Club in her freshman year. After grad- uation she plans to enter U.R.l. where she will continue her education. fffecfef' .fyffffjfli OWEN DOUGLAS JAMES Smile with an intent to do mirchieff' Owen's beguiling smile and easy going disposition have won him a host of friends. An ardent sports fan, Owie has played both football and baseball. Besides being interested in school affairs, he also par- ticipates in many extra-curricular activities. We will always remember Owen for his incessant talking and mischievous ways. JOYCE ANN JENCKS Silence ir more eloquent than u'0rd.r. A quiet and likable senior miss, Joyce has been a loyal member of the Girls' Glee Club. She is active in church affairs and in her spare time especially enjoys reading. Having taken the commercial course for four years, Joyce is certain to make an efficient secretary. ROBERT CHARLES JORDAN .gt- Politene5.r goer far, Je! cortr nothing. Bob, known for his quiet, courteous manner, is a gentleman. Interested in ag- riculture, he takes the general course and is a member of the Future Farmers of America and the Richmond Grange.
