As the carload of girls spills out, you cant miss jane, who is the center of this group. Her warm smile for everyone reveals her friendly personality. Captain of two sports, Smokey is one of our most amiable classmates. He is out- standing in both baseball and hasketball and has all the qualifications of a genuine Sportsman. Although quiet and unassuming, Smokey has won baseball honors since his Soph- omore year and has always been a high scorer in basket- ball. His love of cars takes up much of his time. Frank never walks to vocation- al practice but fills his car to overflowing with his admiring friends. Although not active in sports, he is always cheering energetically at every game. BEVERLEY A. HOUSTON A happy bearl, a inzili21gfure. Bev has been a vivacious cheerleader for two years, sup- porting all our teams. Possess- ing a spirited personality. she likes to dance, swim, and play tennis, besides having a deep interest in dramatics. Her pop- ularity won her a place in the Queens Court at the Junior Prom. He is an avid sports fan and can be seen at all S. Kfs athletic con- tests. Class president in his Freshman year, Terry has al- ways taken part in class activi- ties. Blonde, blue-eyed Carol is one of those fortunate girls with naturally curly hair. Her friends never feel disheartened while Carol is there to cheer them with her friendly smile and joyous laughter, She was an active member of the Glee Club. A. she studied Polish, a language which she speaks fluently. June loves all sports, especially dancing. June is Well adjusted in her new surroundings. Charming, efficient, friendly, June has often served as substitute sec- retary in Mr. Wright's office. KARL CATON KOPP I try all zhingfq I achieve what I can. Karl is the tall blond who came to us in his Senior year from Hillhouse High School in New Haven, Connecticut. A lover of sports, Karl is a star in basketball. After grad- uation, Karl intends to enter Rhode Island State College, where we know he will be a success. PETER EDWARD KEARNS Enjoy lhe prerezzl hour and he thankful for the pall. Pete, class president during our Senior year, is a bundle of energy. Fun loving and ver- satile, Pete is the center of every debate, for he tries to out-talk everyone. Co-captain of the football team, Pete builds his life around sports. He plays basketball and base- ball with equal skill. A good sport, Pete is a good student and an ambitious leader. Gloria has enter- tained us many times with her beautiful voice and acting ability. HARRIET E. KINNECOM Cheerful, very pleamnt, and helpful ir the. Harriet, that tall brunette with the pleasant manner, may be seen at all the S. K. activi- ties. With her cheerful smile she has many friends. Harriet is a good commercial student. The sparkling diamond, flash- ing on her left hand as the typewriter keys fly, may indi- cate her future course. JOHN S. MACKENZIE HappineJJ coming in activity. The squeal of tires, the blast of a horn followed by a boom- ing laugh announce that John has arrived in one of his many vehicles. His wit and alert, ambitious manner reveal to all of us his willingness to lend a helping hand always. John's friendly manner and enthusi- asm have been an aid to all of us.
