Industrial Arts Industrial Arts included three types of Classes - wood- shop, plastic shop, and drafting. In wood and plastic shop classes students selected projects designs and built prod- ucts according to the design specifications. In drafting class students learned to read and plan blue prints for buildings. Mr. Carroll, Mr. Johnson, and Mr. Sparks selected represen- tatives from each of their respective classes. Newspaper The Newspaper Staff began the year with only two experienced staff members. The journalism members learned not only how to write copy, but also how to plan layouts.
