F ootball The Rockets got off to a rolling start by crushing F ar- ragut 30-0 at home. After this victory they continued the season winning four more games and losing only three. This success would not have been possible with- out the enthusiasm, spirit, and support of the players and fans. Sponsor Betsy Taylor tleftl and Captain Jill Roberts lopposite pagel provided leadership and guid- , ance to the squad. With chants and cheers like ttRock , J, Steady and We Are Challenged the fans were spir- ited in victory and in defeat. The cheerleaders enjoyed summer camp at UT from July 29th to August 2nd. The squad received second place among all junior high schools in Knoxville for their outstanding work. Sports 37
