The tirst annual Beauties ot Troy Pageant, held December TO, l966, was sponsored by the Palladium and the Torch. Twenty-tive contest- ants, who had been chosen in a preliminary iudging, met the judges at a tea before the pag- eant. Mayor Clyde Doyal, Mr. Bob White, Mrs. Marilyn Forehand, Mr, Leon Forehand, and Mrs. Ann lsbell served as iuclges during the tea and later that evening at the pageant.
