This course is considered an essential to a well-rounded high school education. Physics provides a start into the problem-solving required in the scien- tific world of today. It is divided into mechanics, heat, electricity, sound, light, and atomic and nuclear physics. Chemistry offers the study of the basic laws and principles which regu- late and control the reactions between different substances in the universe.
