BY BALL I-HGH 28-15 The Trojans, entering the game with three district wins under their belts, were caught off guard as the second play of the game saw Ball scoring on along pass play. The PAT was good and the Trojans were behind 7-0. This seemed only to urge the Trojans on as fullback. Rick Lindberg rambled for runs totaling a fantastic T33 yards. The scoring by the Trojans came from quarterback Don Moon, tailback John Lewis, wingback Don Brogna, and of course, fullback Rick Lindberg. After a second touchdown by Ball High, the Trojan defense tightened up and allowed very little yardage the rest of the night. White l2ll shows determination as he fights for yardage TPJQJANQ GUTQTINGQ 28-O ln their fourth district l2-AA clash South Houston exploded with a machine-like of- fense led by fullback Rick Lindberg, quarterback Don Moon, tailbock Jim White and wingbaclf Don Brogna. Tailback Jimmy White, even though hampered by iniuries, ran brilliantly throughout the night and scored first on a twenty-yard scamper around left end. Brogna followed with a fifteen-yard drive for a TD. Moon and Lindberg followed with fine runs for a touchdown each. Outstanding on defense were John Miller, Lyndal Kennedy, Wayne Adams and Alyis Gammage. Vickers local clears the way for Brogna l34l as Dumas l8Ol and Rudolph l78l come to the rescue.

QTOPPLETE90-WQ 21-7 Trailing at halftime 7-O, the Trojans came back to down Rayburn Zl-7. Don Moon scored the only first half tally on a sweep around left end, The Troians scored two more TD's, one on a T5-yard pass from Moon to Archer and another on a six-yard plunge by Brogna. The Troian offense was sparked throughout the game by quarterback Don Moon and full- back Rick Lindberg, who picked up a total of 99 yards rushing. The Trojan defense was not as- leep either, being led by Johnny Miller and Tommy Watson. The turning point of the game came when the defense made a remarkable four play goal line stand on their own three-yard line. After this the offense seemed to come alive and it was the Tro- ians all the way the rest of the game. .- .
